Kids learn about calories and food servings as they make a customized meal plan based on the USDA guidelines. The child enters their age, gender and activity level (this has audio and “game help” if they need more guidance). Based on their information, they are given the required calories and servings by food group they will need to create a healthy balanced meal.

Kids travel into a virtual kitchen, cafeteria and grocery store and look into cabinets and open drawers to find the the right foods to make their meal. Kevin will judge their meal and see how well they did making a healthy meal that has the right amount of servings from each of the food groups! The tool automatically calculates their calories and food servings by meal and for the entire day using color coded boxes. The clock is ticking, how fast you can make a balanced meal!
